Testimonials

My son has shown exponential progress not only in his level of play, but in his focus during the four years he has been instructed by Ken. Ken has a gift for coaxing excellence out his students without being the proverbial “task master.”
We had a wonderful experience having Ken Moran as our daughter’s private music teacher. We felt that our daughter needed more of a challenge than what she was receiving in the school orchestra, and that is exactly what Ken provided. Ken is a very patient instructor who did a great job of building rapport with our daughter and keeping us informed of her progress. His musical knowledge and ability to encourage without pushing too hard were key factors in helping our daughter grow musically. Ken kept us informed of other musical opportunities outside of school that our daughter could participate in, while also taking her comfort level into consideration. Our daughter participated in a recital that Ken had organized at wonderful venue. We especially enjoyed the fact that we received a video of our daughter’s performance to share with others and to keep as a long lasting memory. We enjoyed having Ken as our daughter’s private music teacher and are extremely happy with the results and growth that she made while being his student.
I took clarinet lessons with Mr. Moran for two years and it is a privilege to have him to be my teacher. He is very positive, engaging, and professional. He used a variety of approaches that tapped into my interest and introduced me to different kinds of music. I also enrolled in the Jazz Camp last summer taught by Mr. Moran and it was a wonderful experience. He is exceedingly patient with all students, encourages them and coaxes the very best effort from each and every one. Mr. Moran is absolutely passionate about music. His devotion and love of music is evident in his enthusiastic and energetic teaching techniques that really inspired me. I respect Mr. Moran for many of his qualities but most of all, he is able to connect with his students. I highly recommend Mr. Moran as your new teacher!
I feel very lucky to have Ken as my teacher, I’m loving my saxophone lessons with him! He is very kind, professional, patient, and fun. He has a lot of experience teaching and he has studied music for more than 10 years.
I always wanted to learn how to play this instrument and I never had the opportunity before until I found Ken. I was looking for good and affordable private lessons and now I can’t be happier with them. I started from scratch and I’ve learned a lot in only three months! I learned my first song a couple lessons ago and I can do some sight reading too. If you want to learn how to play saxophone, Ken is the right one to help you!
Ken is a great flute teacher. My daughter is making excellent progress. Ken is very patient, he is an excellent duet partner and extremely professional. Lessons at our home have turned out to be a super solution that allows for warm ups before the lesson gets started. I would recommend him to any student.
I’ve been studying clarinet with Ken for a few months. It had been many years (since high school) since I played and I could tell right away that he is a great musician and a great teacher. He’s always on time, he’s funny and the enthusiasm he brings is second to none.
